The jaguar's children

Summary: Hector, a young Mexican in search of a new life pays to be smuggled across the U.S. Border sealed inside a water tanker packed with illegal migrants. With him is César, a biotech researcher for a large manufacturer of genetically modified corn, fleeing for his life. When the smugglers abandon the tanker, leaving them all to die in the baking desert, their only lifeline is César's phone. As legends fuse with the terrifying present, the dangers César is fleeing become grippingly apparent.
